FMS Flight Log — Privacy Policy

FMS Flight Log is an internal flight-logging application operated by the Warrnambool Bus Lines group ("we"). It is used exclusively by our own pilots and staff. This policy describes what the app collects and how it is used.

Information we collect

• Account details — your name and email address, provided via Sign in with Apple, used to identify your pilot account.
• Flight records — flight logs you enter (dates, hours, routes, aircraft, passenger names, remarks) and fuel uplift records.
• Photos — photos you choose to attach to fuel uplifts (e.g. fuel dockets). The app accesses only photos you select or take; with your permission it can read your photo library to let you browse offline.
• Device push token — so we can notify you when a booking is assigned to you.

How it is used

Solely to operate the company's flight-logging system: recording flights, coordinating bookings, and meeting the company's operational record-keeping obligations. Completed flight logs are exported to the company's internal records (a company-controlled spreadsheet). We do not sell, share, or use any data for advertising or tracking, and the app contains no third-party analytics.

Where it is stored

Data is stored on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in Sydney, Australia, encrypted in transit and at rest, and on your device for offline use. Notifications are delivered via Apple's push service and email.

Retention and access

Flight records are retained as operational records of the company. You can view your records in the app at any time. To correct or remove personal information, or for any privacy question, contact the operator.
